Oppan Bakery (UEN 53527733D) is a registered home-based bakery in Singapore. This page explains what personal data we collect when you order, why we need it, who sees it and how long we keep it. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to bake your order and deliver it. When you place an order on this website we collect:

Your name — so we know whose order it is.
Your email address — to send your order confirmation and payment instructions.
Your mobile number — to confirm your order on WhatsApp and to reach you on delivery day.
Your delivery address, including unit number and postal code — so we can deliver.
Your chosen delivery date and any notes you add, such as allergies or gate instructions.
What you ordered and the total paid.

If you message us on WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you choose to send us there.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your bank details. Payment is made by PayNow directly through your own banking app — your card and account numbers never touch this website.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your details with advertisers. We do measure visits — see Cookies below.
We do not ask for NRIC, date of birth, or any identification documents.

How we use it

Your details are used only to prepare, confirm and deliver your order, and to contact you if there is a problem with it. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Who can see it

Your order details are seen by the owner of Oppan Bakery. Beyond that, limited information is handled by the services that run this website:

Our web host stores the order record and runs our email, on servers used to operate this website.
Our delivery driver is given your name, address and phone number on the day, so they can hand the order to you.

We do not share your data with anyone else unless we are required to by law.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It sets cookies on your device and sends Google a record of your visit. We use this only to understand how the website is performing — never to identify you personally — and we do not run advertising trackers.

You can opt out at any time by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The website works normally either way, including checkout.

Your shopping cart is separate from all of this: it is kept in your own browser's local storage on your device, stays there, and is not sent to us until you place the order.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 24 months, which lets us handle questions, repeat orders and our own business records. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner — see below.

Keeping it safe

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and order records are stored where they cannot be reached from the public web. Only the owner has access to them.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you, and how it has been used;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete your details, where we are not required to keep them; or
withdraw your consent to us contacting you.

We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. Please note that if you ask us to delete your details while an order is still in progress, we may not be able to complete that order.
